As well as this, the glass looks nicer from the outside rather than having plastic which can develop creases and other imperfections.
Security systems can also be used to monitor garden sheds and garages but these are again the more expensive option. This being said, if what you are protecting is worth a lot either in monetary terms or personal terms then perhaps it is worth the investment to protect it. Another more expensive option, but by far the most secure of them all is to build a garden shed or garage with good foundations out of concrete. Concrete walls coupled with secure and strong doors and windows are very hard to break into and will be very safe and secure to protect your valuables.
