There’s one tree…we won’t hit it.

Imagine a man, going on a journey, beyond sight and sound.

Down deep in the ocean, that is. And he’s French…and he’s got a crew. Then an Englishman comes along, and nothing spells disaster like an Englishman and a Frenchie butting heads in the middle of the ocean. Bulkheads, that is…of their respective nuclear submarines.

For a size comparison, here’s a picture of the Atlantic ocean, taken from way up high. Yes, that’s the Earth’s curvature you can see over there. And you’re right, there’s no land in sight. And yes, the Frenchman and the Englishman managed to crash their nuclear subs in all that water.

Well done, well done!

  1. Not to mention, there’s also the depth difference each sub travel on, adding another factor to how bleeding well done this collition is.
Could almost start to wonder if they’re hiding something.

  2. I had the exact same th0ught. However, I’ve been wondering whether they have to stick to a very limited underwater route when using nuclear subs (due to international regulations) making collisions more likely. Add on the fact that they’re both carrying anti-sonar equipment and you have a recipe for disaster.
