Snow definately does not make the world go around, and unprepared countries and locations around the globe has been hit by massive amounts lately, from London to the Canary Islands, and Oslo.
Ever wonder what a snowed-in airplane looks like? Here’s one:
Passengers feel the wait of the snow…so to speak. Again at OSL airport.
So… if you want to stop a country in its tracks, send ’em snow.

Yeah… but we (around Oslo) did get a “little” more snow than London and the Canary Islands:D About 60 cm in 24 hours, and that is much around and in a city area.
That’s definitely true, Reptile.
Me, I think city and regional authorities in Norway dealt with both the large snowfalls so far this winter admirably.
I’m from the western part of Norway and it always amazes me all the problems that occur when there’s snow… At home, the most serious thing that ever happened was the school bus being half an hour late… 🙂
