Mexico crazy for bulletproof clothing

Miguel Caballeros shoots his own employees when he shows off new collections of clothing from his Columbia-based company. So far, they have all survived.

The sales director sees fit to warn people not to think they’re supermen (or -women) and underlines the fact that these clothes are made to make sure people have a fighting chance, so to speak, of running away from their assailant.

Every new employee has to be shot wearing the clothing, because according to the company, that’s the only way that the sales rep will really believe the clothes work, and therefore be able to sell more of them… Anyway, the designer himself has been shot three times wearing the clothes, and he’s definately lively enough still.

The clothing items are not only sold in Mexico and Columbia, but also in Harrods stores, and in selected outlets in Switzerland, Italy, Spain and some other countries.
