This is a must-read article for any security manager. Getting your employees home safe from business trips should be paramount for any company, and is a much neglected part of security in many places.

For my own part, I recently (last week, actually) resigned my position as security responsible for a whole country operation in one of the world’s biggest companies, with one of the world’s most recognizable brands because they did nothing to help when disaster struck and I was stranded abroad after a business trip, due to being a victim of crime.

I wholeheartedly recommend the article to anyone who travels on business, and anyone who is a manager with “underlings” travelling (both domestically and internationally) for business purposes. This should be first on the priorities-list.
