Government Security Resources

Government resources regarding personal and private security can be hard to find. Also, depending on where you are in the world, the reliability of the resources can vary widely. Even though the advances in the security sector are massive, the resources presented by many governments are not updated at all – or not updated frequently enough.

We here at Snälla Bolaget will update this page with information from a number of governments we think are at least trying to stay on top of the info needed to make sure its citizens and dependents stay alive and healthy on all kinds of situations.

While we are researching, we will post the resources of one of the most security aware governments on the planet – the US government.

Let’s get one thing straight – we here at snallabolaget.com do not usually care about, or comment on, politics. We care about your safety, your family’s safety and the safety of what you deem to be valuable to you. However, since we will post only information that is reliable and up to date, this will naturally disqualify information from governments that censor or block its citizens, have travel restrictions or other unfair practices implemented against its citizens.

First up:
US Government Personal Security Resources

US DoS – DSS documents available to the public

US DA – yes, you saw right. The Department of Agriculture. Who would’ve known.
The USDA Office of Procurement and Property Management has made quite the effort. We recommend it.
Here is the starting page for their Physical Security Program.

Some Safety Council – pretty and informative. Just the way you like it.
