Whatever happened to the talking CCTV?
Here; Talking CCTV cameras was tried out in Britain a while back… but then both the controversy and the results report quieted down…
Operators could, according to BBC, “bark orders” at people they saw comitting crimes, such as littering or brawling.
If you’re doing something you shouldn’t be in Barking and Dagenham, be warned. Talking CCTV cameras may catch you out, and scold you in front of everyone in the street!
